Morris Dancers from the DARK side! Seriously though, there are so many similar traditions throughout Europe, they must have similar very ancient origins. Though I suppose that, as many are revivals of old traditions, it's inevitable that in the era of global communications they influence each other. A 'chicken and egg' conundrum!?
